lol Anne me neither. I do occasionally but as it's usually just for me (the kids don't like what I eat) I don't often bother.

Err - Julie - YEAH !!!!! Can you believe I used to commute home for 2 hours + from London - get home 7pm onwards and STILL cook !! I've just got lazy lol - weird tho cos I love food - just can't be a*sed to cook it tho lol

Anne saw this thread and rang son (electrician). He said turn off and unplug from the socket, dont use it just dump it not worth repairing nowdays.xxxx

I can scramble an egg faster on the hob than it takes in the flippin' microwave - I hate the thing, especially as I don't 'trust' it and keep taking stuff out (on the rare occasions I use it) to make sure it's hot enough!

Not yet Julie lol I have an electric stove - with solid hobs which take an age to heat up - and then I have copper bottomed saucepans too - should take about an hour for the heat to reach the s'getti pmsl
