good morning ron i had a sleepless nite to...........been awake since 4 am got up at 5 ish complelty fed up :-(

Good morning Ron & Lou I had the best nights sleep I`ve had for ages-sorry your not sleeping it pants when you don`t aint it? Harry slept through last night without the horrendous coughing fits :))) His play is tonight so have a big box of tissues at the ready! Have a great day Diane :))

i hope harrys play goes really well i rember wen my kids were stil at school .......... i luved all the shows etc they were in :-)

ron i think i got flu !!! feel very very ill so ill that yesterday i didnt go to the leeds meet that id booked the day off for ( im a bit of a 'meets' junkie lol) today im missing the childrens party at work wen santa comes to see them and i luv it id even got my reindeer antlers to wear as we all hav to dress up and i was going as rudolf :-) at leaast my nose is the rite color now...........lol ps im often here but just dont post on threads very often :-)

has anyone got some help for me please my daughter becki who is 18 is having an operation in january because she is 18 she is on an adult ward she wants me to stay overnite with her (shud only b for one nite) and i want to do that as she is scared of the operation they say that cus she is 18 she is on an adult ward and therefore i cant stay overnite becki is now refusung to hav the operation any ideas please i dont want to persuade her to stay without me really as i know thats not wat she wants wat i want is help to make the hospital let me stay with her

Good Morning Ron......... Good Morning Lou..... Phone the consultants secretary and have a word with her see what she has to say. Or maybe they will let your daughter come home after day surgery. Plump for that one if you can . Have a good day all of you.

maise thanx for advice but we hav already foned and been told no also at her outpatients appointment she was told it was a day case but now been told its an overniter and she will HAV to stay overnite no mater wat time she has the op !!!!!

Hi Lou I would ask for a day care bed -They discharge you 6-8 hours after op (assumimg everything is ok) Ring them up and ask . Diane :)

diane hav already tried that and been told no :-( im sure they think im babying becki but im not she is a very independent girl but she is so scared about this and wants me there normally she dont want me even wen she is ill she goes doctors on her own etc its just this time she wants me.........bless her !!!

Lou You and Becki must see the Dr and put your best case to him. Tell him that Becki want's the operation but is refuseing on the grounds nobody is allowed to stay with her. You feel and agree with the Dr she must have it done, So are asking for permision to stop with her in a chair over nite, as this would sort out all the problem . Becki should be there too as the Dr will need to ask her if that is the case. Permision is sometimes given on some grounds. Hope this helps you. Ron
