Morning Gwynne I hope you had a great Christmas. ... It was a really strange one for me. I had been in Hampshire since 17th helping Mum and travelled back Christmas morning to find everything prepared in my absence. ..... Then we had our Christmas meal much later than usual, waiting until our firefighter son finished work at 6pm. It was lovely to all to be able to sit down together though. Gwyn |

Thanks Gwynne. Mum is so-so. Her back pain is a little better but she can't manage to do much yet. My sister is staying there for a day or two but returns to work this week, so I may be back to Hampshire soon. Gwyn |

Good Morning..... Just seen my Dad and Sister out of the door. An excellent day. My Dad talked about when he was young. He remembers his Great Grandma, and his Grandad, so more family stories shared!! Deb |

Sounds like everyone had a lovely day. Good morning to you all. :o) We had a smashing day. The kids still 'believe' so it was magical to watch their faces when they saw their full stockings. I was spoiled by hubby and had lots of nice stuff and I cooked which I really enjoy so it was nice to see everyone tucking in to their dinner. Having a rest today! Claire xx |

A nice day spent with my daughter. My 6 year old grandson was not well, hacking cough and high temperature but thank goodness seemed to enjoy the day. I will whisper this very quietly and dash for cover ....I am so glad it is over. Just New Years Eve to get through. Jean x. |

sat here full of cold in my new dressing gown, felt really sorry for myself yesterday, in fact i kept falling asleep around 4pm. other half says it was the best christmas he has had for quite a while(our second together). my mum, daughter, other half, other halfs father and myself had chritmas dinner cooked by my other halfs father at his restaurant. lovely. managed to rally round for an hour without feeling too miserable, didnt want to spoil things for others. just sad my son couldn't make it, but he was spending the day with his girlfriend and their new baby at her family home. seeing my own brother and his family today, glad i am feeling a bit better today thankgoodness. hope everyone got what they wanted from father christmas. i know i did! tina x |
