Roxanne Report 13 Jan 2006 12:23

this has happened by sheer chance, we had to take some things to the animal rescue centre today, I walked into the cattery And there was this little kitten jumping around in her pen crying with all her energy, trying to get my attention, when I approached the pen she was rubbing up and down the pen purring, Im sure it was 'take Me home Please' so I have. Well shes at the vets at the moment having her blood tests and micro chip,Were collecting her at 7.30, we are calling her 'Sutty'( our surname is Sutton) She had been dumped in a bin by some low-life. It was just meant to be, I had no plans to get another cat so soon.

*wipes a tear from eyes* Oh Roxanne - I am pleased for you :O)) She sounds lovely - what colour is she ??? Whatever you do - do not feel guilty for taking another so quickly ......... believe me it helps the grieving process! I did the same when one of mine was killed - you can never replace the one you have lost, but an new cat sure makes the pain easier :O))) Bless - I hope she is very happy with you xxxx

Sometimes these things are meant to be. Congratulations on your new addition - hope she gives you many years of pleasure! As for the lowlife - I know what I'd like to do to them, but would probably get barred from the site if I posted it! Miaow

I'll bet there was some divine intervention - your poor puss that you lost was probably nudging little kitty saying 'go on pick her she'll be a great mum for you' :O))) xxx

Woo hoo, lump in my throat. But lucky little Kitten. New pets dont replace the ones weve lost but they do take the edge off the pain of loss, dont they, especially little babies - they need so much care. Our dear little Ralph was a god send to me. I dont know how I would have coped without him after we lost Lucy and then my dearest dad's death. He needed so much attention it distracts from the pain. Im SO VERY GLAD you got Sutty. Hey, check out some of the toys you can get ! Ive just ordered Ralph, along with his personalised towel, his personalised collar and his new halti harness and lead, a babble ball. It talks if the animal even just walks near it. Cant wait to see his face when it comes. Oh, they have some lovely collars for cats with diamante personal names on them. God bless.

I think it's great news for Sutty and great for you. I haven't regretted given my two kittens a home. It really helped us as a family but has been so much more for them. All ther best to you & Sutty It was meant to be :-))) Pat x

Great news Roxanne :0))))))))))))))))))))) We got three of our cats from a rehoming centre. The second, Coco, climbed to the top of the mesh gate on the front of her enclosure to get our attention lol. Good luck with Sutty, may you have many years of love and happiness with her. Who's to say Lucky didn't send her to you somehow. Juliexx
