Tallulah Report 13 Jan 2006 13:08

Any one else been watching this. I tape it and watch it next day so i don't have to listen to the judges gushing comments, only Billy gives an honest opinion, and then only some of the time! But what really bugs me is Roxanne, the way she dresses, the way she sings, the way her arm constantly moves when she is 'performing' (yes Roxanne, people do care about it) and the expressions on her face when she is waiting to hear if she has been kept in, she makes me want to screeeeeaaaammmmm!!!!!! Hopefully she will now be voted off as she is up against Richard, who, i think, is great. sorry ,just had to get that off my chest, thanks. Patricia

Yes, I have been watching and yes i do agree about Roxanne, she really aggravates me with the faces she pulls. I suppose, being charitable, it is because she is nervous. So, who do you think will win then? Ann Glos

Tallulah

Tallulah Report 13 Jan 2006 13:15

Ann, sorry, i don't think she's nervous, just a pain, lol. i hope Richard wins because, from the beginning he is the only one who CAN sing. Patricia

MarionfromScotland Report 13 Jan 2006 13:39

Here is Roxanne. Former Hollyoaks actress, Roxanne Pallett has joined the cast of Yorkshire-based soap Emmerdale. Roxanne - who also appeared in the drama A&E - will play new vetinary receptionist Jo Stiles. Her character can't resist some good-natured meddling in the private lives of vets Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Max (Charlie Kemp) while, at the same time, setting her sights on Danny Daggert (Cleveland Campbell). Talking of her new part, Roxanne said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Emmerdale. Jo is a bit of a minx and a great character for me to get my teeth into!??? Emmerdale series producer Kath Beedles commented: “We are delighted to welcome Roxanne to the cast. Jo Stiles is going to turn up the heat in the village and will certainly attract her fair share of male attention.??? Marion.

Val wish I'd never started Report 13 Jan 2006 14:04

I agree Cilla is definitely tone deaf she does not seem to hear how they sing at all, and its stupid saying it was wonderful when it wasnt, at least Billy tells the truth but he should not get so personal I thought he was out of order saying about Wendi should cover up, even though I agree with him. I am not as fat as her and would not dream of wearing sleeveless tops I think ladies over a certain age especially when they have flabby arms should cover up, and she looked really nice the next day.

Tallulah

Tallulah Report 13 Jan 2006 14:07

That reminds me, another thing about Roxy, she did look like a 'lady of the night' and last night she looked as if she was wearin her nightie!

Margaret

Margaret Report 13 Jan 2006 16:05

I agree about Lucy. She gets on my nerves and I don't particularly rate her singing. Roxanne on the other hand CAN sing, although I do not support her as she uses the 'little girl' ploy to attract the voters. For me the two lads, Richard and Andy give the best all-round performances. They have both been pretty consistent throughout the competition. And as for Andy not being a 'dancer' - correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that this was a singing competition not a milked-down version of Strictly. Being able to dance should not really come into it.
