Anything? Oh wow! Well obviously, stop the senseless destruction of people and the planet. That would take up till lunchtime, after that I would like to be able to go back in time with a digital camera and photograph all the ancestors whose image I don't have. I would like to be able to go round each census night and quiz my ancestors on how they are and reassure them that everything will be OK in the future. [I realise I can't change events, because if I did I might not be here to go there, if you see what I mean] Oh, and I'd also really, really like to be able to eat and drink as much as I like whilst retaining a sylph-like figure. Or maybe instead of all that, I'd like to just be less frustrated with life's imperfections. nell

I'd also travel through time, cure all illnesses, recover all the army records that were burnt, and start compulsary civil registration and censi in the year dot (just think how big the tree would be!) with big penulties if you didn't register. I'd also make sure the 1911 and later censi were preserved. Now I'm being greedy!!!!
