you passed your driving test? Do you think you would pass it if you had to take it again tomorrow?

I was 20, and I passed first time, but it was a long time ago, and I am not sure I would pass if I had to take it again ;-))

About 30 I think....I am a better driver now but the theory would kill me XXX

17 and passed first time. Don't know if I do it now!! I think NOT!!! Joy

I passed 1st time in 1988 i was 30 .. Would i pass it again ? probably not . Well maybe after i few lesson . More like 50 lessons Cath

17. Passed first time. 12 lessons.

I was 17, took me 4 attempts!! never do it now, nerves would get the better of me (if the road rage didn't!!)

My husband passed first time at 17 with no formal lessons(dread to think what the informal ones were!) I passed second time at 28. I remember the driving instructor saying you should aim for a lesson for every year of your age. Well I managed that!

I was 19 and passed first time (forgive me for not saying which year that was ). My driving lessons each cost twenty seven shillings and six pence ( perhaps some clever cloggs can now work out which year it was lol ). I am tempted to say that I would not pass a test nowadays. But having seen samples of the theory test ( where they virtually give you the answers to the questions ) and having seen how many 'errors' you are allowed to make on the test ( in my day you were not allowed to make a single mistake ) I somehow feel that I could pass today's test with room to spare. But I have to admit that over the years I have picked up many undesirable habits ( driving ones that is ) .......................................So ................. come on...........who else crosses their hands when turning the steering wheel????

I was 17, nd I think i'd probably fail, the new hazards perception thing came up a week after I passed!

I was 34 and passed first time....didn't think I had at the time. Two young people in the office have recently taken tests and I have done the practical tests with them from the discs.....usually passed but sometimes only just. As for the test....we all pick up bad habits...I think I am a careful driver....but maybe I am every drivers worst nightmare because I admit to being cautious....if in doubt don't go. It would be interesting to take a test again.....but I do like speed - have been known to overtake a Porche. My pet hate........people who don't signal - or who signal wrongly at round-abouts
