Oh dear. Maybe I shouldn't have bothered. My husband says he's not seen a whale in the Thames from his office window, but perhaps it's swum further along to Charing Cross or some other whale weigh station! Collective groaning on a count of 3, please. CB >|< |

My husband reckons he's heard the whale was last sighted around Putney Bridge, so the poor thing's obviously swimming in the wrong direction - it's heading inland into shallower and narrower fresh water. CB >|< |

sorry for not keeping you all updated. Whale continuedupstream and got inbetween Battersea and ALbert Bridges where he attempte dto beach again but was pushed back out. He's now spent the last our or so swimming around near Albert and CHelsea Bridge. High tideis at 6.01pm so if he's 'resting' ie.e floating as the tide starts to go back out he should go downstream again and toward the sea Zoe |

just spoke to my photographer and he's watching it off the ALbert Bridge so still a fair way from putney yet |
