I've never had pilchards! I had butter and CRUNCHY peanut butter on toast. I like Marmite, Bovril, Dairylea and pate on toast too :0)

Marmite with cottage cheese on top. Or Dripping with the jelly & salt & pepper.(not had for many years)- my favourite Or peanut butter. or even with lemon & lime marmalade Shirley

For breakfast - depends on the bread, but lashings of butter, crunchy peanut butter, blueberry conserve, mushrooms fried in butter, scrambled eggs, or marmalade with bits in it would do for me, please. For lunch - sardines or pilchards in tomato sauce, pate, peanut butter or cheeeeeeeese, Gromit! Are you expecting to get a crew of left-overs from the Chelmsford meet stopping overnight, Bec?
