I got a standard reply to the email I sent them last time. Hope you get a proper reply this time. Wonder who the low life is? Daisy |

Paul, I don't see how they can justify removing it this time as you were actually offering something. Some mean spirited low life is obviously targetting your efforts by complaining direct to ebay as other, similar listings are still there. Don't let the bu**ers get you down. Daisy |

FFS! Just logged back on and saw this...gutted for you Paul, i am also emailing ebay with a complaint!! I have absolutly nothing which cost me absolutly nothing from the first time, and hoped to get almost absolutly nothing to go with it (obviously i would have paid this time, we cant expect to get nothing free)... I give up with Ebay, that was going to be the first time i ever bought from there...not playing with them ever again. :-(( cheque will be in the post tomorrow... and whoever keeps complaining about absolutly nothing, must have absolutly nothing going on in their life, and be jelous... xx lou xx |

my email to ebay Hello, Ive just had one of my listings removed. This is the second time you've done this. I'm livid, and so are the people who quite happily bid on it. Your reason for removal was that I was offering something intangible for sale. The first time my auction was deleted, this was valid, but now - it is not. Please read the following descritption. 'OK, lets try this again. Ebay rules preclude me from offering for sale what I wanted to try to sell you - Absolutely nothing ! Many of you found this concept fascinating - bidding on absolutely nothing - thats right ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Many bids were placed. The fact that all proceeds were going to charity (CANCER RESEARCH UK) may have helped. May. Sadly ebay removed it, before anyone else was able to bid on Absolutey Nothing. However, I can confirm that Absolutely nothing WAS still sent to those that bid. So they got it for nowt. Lucky people. Anyway, another day, another dollar. I now offer you for your bidding pleasure... something or nothing. If you are a successful bidder, I will send you something. That something is a small pink Cancer Research UK pin badge. This will be sent to you if you so choose, and the postage cost will be £2 (to UK addresses) in addition to the winning auction amount. Alternatively, as a special offer, I'm still willing to send you... yes, you ! guessed it... absolutely nothing ! Whats more, the postage costs will also be slashed to... absolutely nothing !! So... bid generously. you know you want to feel that warm glow inside of having made a small contribution to this worthy charity.' Please note the descripton of what I was offering - Cancer research Pin badges. I find it hard to believe, given some of the stunts that have occurred on ebay (invisible christmas trees ?), that you have removed this, especially given that the proceeds were going to charity. By removing the thread, you have deprived the charity of at least £20. Can someone please contact me to discuss this matter, rather than just sending me an automated response. Regards Paul Smith CRUK fundraiser. |

words fail me. Same reason - I was selling something 'intangible'. No I bloody wasn't ! I was selling badges, with an option of receiving them or not receiving them. |

5 bids, 5 people watching, 2 questions (one of which I answered the privately, the other I'm still pondering)... 14 of 20 'lots' will sell at the moment... plenty of time left for a bidding war though ;o) |
