They finished the root canal the other week finally! This is a check up and he thinks one of my filings needs a repair... can't see it myself but he's the dentist so I won't argue!

I had a good breakfast and veg stew for lunch (far to much parsnip in it, but I need too use it up) and thinking of chocolate fondue for tea.

sausage and tomato mash. fry sausages, onions and mushrooms. cut sausages into bite size pieces once they are fried and put in a casserole dish with the onions and mushrooms. pour a tin fo chopped tomato's on top (you can add loads of other things as well, like sweetcorn, peas, etc) to add a bit of flavour a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper. boil up potatoes and mash them in the usual way and spread over the top of the sausages and tomato's (just like a shepherds pie). put in the oven and cook until it's nice and brown and crispy on top. its a proper winter dinner and it goes a long way. this will feed a family of 4 to 6. serve with green vegitables. you could add cheese on the top with a few sliced tomato's just for decoration. if anyone tries this recipe pllease let me know what you thought of it. thanks. BON APPETITE. X
