yeah bev my little brother is 22 still a pain in the a** in my eyes!!

If you have seen Harry Enfield's Kevin, then thats what it's like to have a teenager around. They come complete with about 6 mates in tow, talk in funny voices that is one min quite low and the next squeaky! They eat all the rubbish, crisps, choc etc. Vegetables are poisonous, so is washing, clean clothes, making the bed and tidying their rooms. But you still love 'em (especially when they are asleep!) I did the lock yourself in a room trick when I was 3, it was our down stairs loo - dad took the bolt off the door after that and it never went back on again.

My brother when he was little asked for some water to make mud pies in the garden. Mum said no, as we were going to be going out soon and she didn't want him to get dirty. He obviously only heard 'no water' and missed the rest, because he decided to make mud pies with a couple of pints of milk from the doorstep. He thought the pies were 'luvverly'. My mother's reaction, fortunately, was not recorded. nell

well i have had Talcum powder all over bedroom and said 2 yr old lipstick all over wall and said 2 yr old flooded bathroom handbrake let off car on drive....car ended up in middle of road (sloping drive) luckily quiet cul-de-sac biscuit tin on head whilst climbing worktops to reach said biscuit tin............trip to A&E matchbox car in video recorder lego in video recorder lego in ear lego up nose......trip to A&E failure to fly from top of stairs........................trip to A&E failure to control rocking horse.....................trip to A&E failure to return home whilst out playing...................phone call to police investigating nasal anatomy with digit.......................two day nose bleed......................trip to A&E ahhhhhhhhhh fond memories Bev

Just had an e mail from my DiL. My youngest grandchild is at pre-school and today they learnt about pets. This afternoon when Mum was out of the room she fed the tropical fish. this involved standing on the arm of a chair, taking the lid off the tank and giving them a whole packet of fish food. Mum has tried to get it out of the tank but can't and now the poor fish are all dying. Mum was initially cross but has tried not to be afterwards as she was only trying to help. She is 3 and a half.
