Dee, don't worry no one else has ever come up with a name for it in over 30 years. Started when I was 3. For a long time I couldn't get in lifts, travel in the front seat of cars, go on the tube, etc. I still have a problem every time they remove a ceiling tile at work for maintenance. They have to relocate me. Last week they opened a hatch next to the door to the Ladies so they could do some work on the pipes. I had to cross my legs for the rest of the day and didn't dare to have any coffee. I also couldn't leave the building as the Ladies is next to the lifts. Building manager thinks I'm potty but its a very real phobia. Angela |

Karen My daughter is funny about sand too. When she was tiny she would not allow her feet to touch sand on the beach or a sand tray - she would pull her legs up and scream. She will go on the beach now but only with shoes and socks on, and sits on a blanket. She won't play with sand in a sandray. Angela |

Angela, that must be quite difficult, it is something that is hard to avoid, if maintenance needs to be done I guess you don't always get much warning |

Snakes, particulary the poisoness ones. Years ago in India I was with some colleages having a walk round this village when we came across a snake charmer, he had cobras and some other types which I cant remember. I was persuaded to hold one of these 'things' by my companions on the premise that they had had their poison glands removed, I found out afterwards that they were all very poisonous and I'd been playing with them yuk!!!!!! B_____ds!!! Len |
