In 26 years of driving - just two - thankfully :O)) (but that doesn't include very near misses due to other drivers) And incase anyone asks the question - only 2 parking tickets and NO speeding fines ................ |

nasty bump as a passenger when I was 17 - walkled away without a scratch As a driver... 5 1 small bump, 1988, not my fault, lorry didn't know which lane he wanted to be in. 3 small bumps between 1998 and 2004. The first, someone went into the back of me while I was stopped at a roundabout. The second, someone went into the back of me on the motorway (there was an accident in front, I stopped in time the chap behind was daydreaming). The third, I clipped someone at a roundabout after she stopped to let invisible traffic go by. 18 months ago I had a bump on teh way home from a training course one evening, I went to pull across a roundabout (yes, another roundabout lol) and a car coming round the roundabout hit me. By law, my fault. However, I maintain I looked and there was no traffic, so he was coming at a hell of a pace... nver been hurt in any accident, thankfully. |

Now let me see, have been driving for 21 years. First one was at a cross roads my right of way he came speeding across into back passender door 2nd stationary at junction he tried to come up side of me and hit car, gave false details so had to involve police. 3rd lorry pulled out of junction on me ended up under the side of it, he could never be contacted. 4th Sat at lights at road works and someone reversed out of drive into my front wing so they paid for damage for number 3 accident as well. 5th travelled 100 miles back home with hubby and 2 dogs in car, just about got home stopped in queue of traffice car behind me stopped but jag behind him didn't. Mine and car behind were right offs jag hardly a scratch. My dog got pushed though the dog guard and ended up in front seat, never did like cars after that. Had someone go into back of car when hubby was driving it needed new boot door. Also had one where car got damaged by someone elses accident, luckily wasn't in it and first I knew was when police let me know. |

I should add that for most of the last 16 years I've done an average of 25-35k miles a year, at least double the average, therefore double the chances of a bump ? |

oi ! only one of them was my fault ! even thats questionable ! lol (maybe two actually lol) The one where I clipped the woman at the roundabout when she stopped unexpectedly... jumped out of the car, looked at the bump and said 'I only got it back from the garage a week ago, the same thing happened last month'. No more needs to be said really lol |
