I am with those who say keep the letter, just in case anything else happens then you have further evidence. Also a video security camera is a good idea, we have one. I wouldn't approach the RSPCA at the moment, but i would (and the police0 if you get another letter. Ann Glos

UPDATE Just found out that my neighbour has had several notes threatening to report them to the RSPCA because of their rabbits........ I never even knew that they had rabbits until they woke us recently with their banging in the night but thats only cos its been so hot we have had the windows open at night. Had a word with them and they have moved the bunnies. How can anybody complain about rabbits. They are not a nuisance to anybody. Obviously the same nutter who wrote the letter to me.

Well this NUTTER hasn't the courage of their convictions cos they send you the letter anonymously .They are cowards who want to intimidate from the dark corner and then say 'ain't ME'!!. I would keep the letter but DONT worry yourself over it cos you know your dog is well cared for. If this nutter was really that concerned they would have reported you to the RSPCA or the Police which they ha vent cos they know they don't have any case . I know its upsetting for you ,but, I would ignore but monitor any other instances cos you may later be able to get some one for harassment. Your assessment may well be right that someone wants the dog out of the way cos they want to up to be up No Good. Regards Shirley

It would have to be someone fairly close to you to know about your neighbours rabbits as you can't tell from the front of the house that someone has rabbits usually! Are you gardens overlooked by a house behind you or her neighbour on her other side? can you narrow it down a bit more? what was the style of handwritting like or was it computer typed and was the person educated or most likely not, if they are being so petty? it is probably a very, old and lonely eldery person who has not got any interests and is trying to keep themselves occupied, who isn't fortunate to have lovely friends like we do on GR here. the letter I had was typed so presume the neighbours ones ewre as well. Was just looking at the date. I actually posted this back in February so its been a while now. Our houses do back onto other houses with a passage inbetween. Where the rabbits were you would need binoculars to see them from the other houses. I can only think its the neighbour the other side of the rabbits house. Perhaps they have disturbed him with thier noise. A i say its only cos we have been sleeping with the window open that we knew anything about them

Gloryer.. I have just asked my daughter who works for the police and she has said to report the letter to the police... This will give the letter an incident number.. If you have or get anymore also report those.... These records will be kept on file.. and if the perpetrator is found out.. they can charged .. REPORT THEM... Mo
