PinkDiana Report 28 Feb 2006 22:31

Silly question but why can't he have a shower? Is it cos its late? I'd have been right chuffed if my Bro had worried about how he smelt at anytime of the day at that age!! LOL!!

Daniel Report 28 Feb 2006 22:32

Pink it's 10:30pm - school in the morning! People don't shower at this time of night, not us northern ones anyway.

Unknown Report 28 Feb 2006 22:32

You have a 13 year old male who WANTS to shower?? Just a thought, but given his age and time of night, does he wants clean sheets as well? Hormones being hormones and all. Jess........one of my sons calls deodorant 'shower in a can'.

Daniel Report 28 Feb 2006 22:34

It's a temporary measure. Is he suffering from the dreaded acne? That could be the reason. Wants to stay clean before sweating at night.

At least he's realised he smells. My brother didn't get that message till he was 17. The number of times I heard my Dad threaten to throw him in the shower/bath fully clothed!!!!! Joy

Sixteen yr old g.son staying overnight - has just come out of shower - will have another one before he goes to college in morning. BIG difference between morning and evening shower - after morning shower - everywhere smells like a whore's handbag!!!!!!!!! At least what I imagine it would smell like - prefers Boss aftershave (now shaves once per week). Have much sympathy for teachers facing class of teenage college boys all reeking with aftershave - come to think of it a class full of girls reeking of various perfumes! Ann

My 14 year old doesn't like baths or the shower in the bathroom. He likes to use MY shower in my ensuite, leaving scum all round the floor of the shower, hair clogging the sink and wet towels all over the floor. He only wants to shower late at night. He only speaks to say 'Can I have...' nell

Oh I know he has shouted again ' I stink and need a shower'! damn blast whatever!!! Kim
