Thanks, Jenny - PMSL all over again! What a sight! Ann, I didn't have breakfast in the hotel restaurant, just in my room, so I didn't see the girls there. Just saw them checking out. They were all very pretty, so I bet if they had been playing football, they'd have had plenty of spectators. When I first saw them, a dance troupe sprang to mind, but they did have what looked like sports bags, so there were probably the opposition football team. CB >|< XX

Ann, Thank you - I think there was a girls' football team staying at my hotel too, as there seemed to be a lot of young ladies checking out on Sunday morning while Jenny and I sat in Reception, waiting for Babs and BC to arrive. As those girls were all about a third of my age, and given the state of my joints these days, I don't think we should challenge them to a game of anything more than table football! ;>))) Tracey, Glad you enjoyed reading about the bits you missed. I'm not surprised your husband got that impression. Mine was, shall we say, a little surprised but glad I'd had such a good time. His comment was, 'Perhaps you should go away more often!' LOL Babs, You should feel very proud of your success, but somehow I don't think your garden's big enough for a footie match! LOL CB >|< XXX

Just re-read this post on 2nd March - the GR censor has been at work and chopped out the address of the photospage. It appears in the box where I typed it in, but as I've posted before, lots of my posts seem to fall foul of whatever censorship system they use! Hi Neeta, Sorry, I've been away from the PC for a while and only just seen your post. The pix are all on the new photos page - GCPhotos-thenextgeneration@groups*msn*com Changing the * should get you there. CB |>< X

Neeta, I wish you'd been there too. It would be lovely to meet you after all the help you've given me, but I might yet make a trip to Sunderland later this year. Hope you're not thinking of moving! LOL CB >|< X

Thank you kindly, folks. Joan, I wasn't there when Lemon was offered £15, and although she told me about it, I thought it best not to mention. I also thought better of the proposition I got, but that has nothing to do with the fact that no payment was mentioned! LOL Lemon, I really do think it should be an annual event! CB >|< XX
