We usually watch the Eurovision Song Contest because it's one of the funniest shows on TV. It's an institution, and Terry Wogan is a major part of it. Where else can you get such acid wit alongside awful songs, terrible singers, ridiculous outfits and multi-lingual, wooden presenters who change their clothes every half and hour? As far as tonight's programme was concerned - we missed it! LOL CB >|<

Well, I wanted the bloke from Blue, that song stank of eurovision and we all know songs regarding happiness, the world being as one,peace, nature etc all stand a chance lol ! Although the winning rap song was catchy (like the plague) and Eurovisiony corney, Too modern rap type songs dont do anything for most of the other countries. Ps, I think Wogan is Mr Eurovision, I love his little digs in between each performance...makes me larf.... Elaine x

Oh Jim !! Terry is the part of Eurovision - the songs are usually rubbish !

I gave up watching The Eurovision Song Contest years ago because that bl***y Terry Wogan talked over every performance of every song and totally ruined it.

A relation of mine is a song writer and some years ago he had an entry (yes, he's that bad!) he was given third place before it even went to the competition - I still think all these years after that its a sham.

I think that it puts the 'c' into rap! It's bad enough to be on a par with all of the other entries. Let's face it the other countries treat us like dirt but only want us there for the funding that the UK puts into the competition. The sooner we get out of the farcical show the better. Louise

To be honest, I think they stand a better chance in Euro than anyone else. The Europeans can't be trusted to vote for a half decent song. I liked Kim Marsh's song, but it was way too good for this contest lol
