Whatever the women's problem is, I bet there's a website devoted to it. If you don't want to mention it here, try googling. I think its fair to say that midwives can only offer advice on pre-conceptual and prenatal care, childbirth and postnatal care including breastfeeding. nell |

It isn't really my problem, but I am concerned for someone else, who has taken what was said to her to heart. I am sure it cannot be right, which is why I just wanted advice. |

If you're on about pelvic floor muscles, there's probably stacks of info on the internet, not to mention leaflets in your local pharmacy. |

which muscle granny?? not heard of not being able to conceve for that reason, maybe can cause problems carrying baby full term |

I don't know which muscle, but she went in for IVF, and a nurse told her she had a really strong muscle. She has taken that to mean it is stopping her from conceiving. she has asked, but the nurse never made a note of it. |

I think that she may have misunderstood what the midwife said. Muscles play no part at all in conception, doesn't matter how weak or strong they are. |
