glad to see you back BB, will soon be on the ment for sure. It's amazing what they can do now with surgeries, wish they'd had that when I went through my procedures, my tummy looks like Thomas the Train lives on it. LOL. Well come back hon. Debs

it did when i came round!!!!but as soon as the painkillers are in your system it doesnt hurt after about 30 mins

have seen where they cut and they are only about 2cms long,so shouldnt have a scar u can really notice. BB xx

What they do (remembering from mine many years ago) they made one incision in the tummy button, then one lower down, one is to fill your tummy with gas which separates organs inside (if you know what I mean?) and then the camera goes in so they can have a look.. im assuming what could have happened with BB is if one thing was stuck to another?? then the gas could have seperated things?? BB put me right if im wrong, I know I went in and out within 24 hrs but BB said she had done too much. Debs x

I have 3 dressings one over my belly button and 2 lower down,I know one was for gas and one for camera,was the other one for doing the surgery inside?

they told me that they would have a look around then if they found anything they would proceed

I had adhesions from previous surgery which had started attaching itself to bits

I had one day surgery too~did they actually give you a diagnosis or idea as to what is wrong, or do you have to wait for that

i was an a sod apparently,they couldnt find a vein so i had to have gas,it smells like a laundry!,then when i came round,i have never known pain like it...something tells me im not gonna be good when i have kids..lol BB xx

cor Blimey BB... i went into hosp for a diagnostic laperoscopy and was out the same day.... they dont even do it under general here! lol its a local and 4 hours later you are kicked out ;))

BB, You must have done far too much... When I had mine done about 18 yrs ago I was out the next morning, and no we didnt have any luxuries!!! Glad to see you back Debs x

it was £3.50 per day for the tv,phone calls were 10p a min,they are very expensive but a godsend for when u cant sleep. BB xx

you must have been very pooly to be kept a week nearly! The thing with these fancy service packages is they often have to bed paid for by the patient - was it costly?
