Steve, The snow the last few years has not really settled in this area and I am about a mile or 2 from the NEC. So don't worry about getting stuck here! The last time that happened was 15 years ago, the year we moved here and the everyone from that part of the motorway was taken to the NEC for the night! I also hate the NEC when shows are on as it takes my husband up to an hour to get out of the car park at work near the NEC and he is always late home. Have a good time. Jacky :-) |

I'm supposed to be having an intensive driving course over the weekend and my test on Monday. I could really do without the snow!!! Go to crufts theres no point in sitting at home when you could be out at an event like that. Sx |

Ahh unless your showing a dog it is fun with a dog or three in tow its a bit diff lol up at 3.30am set off at 4.30 am drive to the NEC with a stop or to for doggy wee wees. arrive about 7.30 am cart dogs cages bags ect from south car park round lake to door wait in a que get in. find benches set up cages put dogs in cages ask someone to wach dogs while you pop to the loo and get a coffee. sit at bench till ring time about 9.30 am whatch others dogs while they pop here and there. 9.30 now lots and lots of people are about trying to get to the ring with lots of visitors in the way is great fun. after judging win or lose back to bench dogs back in cages, dogs to wee area back to bench, look after each others dogs while getting some food at 12.30ish (9 hours so far) the rest of the afternoon is much the same 1,000 of people pushing past kids out of control (not mine lol) 4.15pm time to pack up ready to leave at 4.30 pm (kc rules exhibitors cant leave before 4.30) there will be about 9,000 dogs and owners trying to get out, finaly back to the car ready to go home its now about 5.15 pm, then the bit we all hate getting out of the car park (rush hour time lol) arrive home about 10pm unpack car get dogs feed, myself a beer, then give dogs a good walk now 11.45ish one more beer then bed, now you can see why i dont like crufts lol Steve |

OMG I have been delegated to keep my son out of the way whilst they set up a surprise birthday party. The plan was to go shooting, but if it's snow or rain that will be off. Time to put together PLAN B. Whatever that is! |
