Meeting the Sahara Trekkers when they get home.!!!

I realise it is a long shot. But I would like to see if we can get as many GR members as possible to welcome the Trekkers back when they arrive back at the airport. If there is enough support, I could probably get down from Newcastle, but would have to book my train travel asap.... I would love all those that can get there to let me know if they could make it without spending loads of money. Just another silly idea. Jenny. xx |

I read on a thread that they are due back to hotel on the 18th /19th.Not sure if it is the hotel in London or nto. I hope someone can put me right on this. Possibly Paul's Wife Sharon. I know Anna says she will be back in Scotland on Monday 20th. |

Anna told me they get back the Sunday but as she thought she may miss her connecting flight shes staying night in London then coming back to Scotland on the Monday |

I just CAN'T go Jen. I think it is a lovely idea, and I would love to be there. I just could not make the journey... can't do long hauls! Hope you can get a few people who CAN make it, as it would be such tribute to the trekers. A great way to say Thank you all. Deanna X |
