I might come - obviously depends where as i have little one to think of.. Also, would like to say that the 'venue' host is the one to sort out insurace, first aid, ?police??? (what goes on at these meets??) etc.. Or were you thinking more on the lines of tents in a field????? lol LOU xxxxx

Jacky that sounds a good idea.....good advertising for Genes, and an organised meet for us. Right time and venue, then I would be up for it.

It's a great idea. As said, it has been suggested before and nothing happened for various reasons. A lot of the points put forward about getting a licence etc. I do wonder whether the present owners of Genes may be able to help with venues and licence etc. They could make a programme about it! If it was timed for next year, a 5th anniversary perhaps. See you all there! Jacky :-)

Lovely idea but, as June from Preston says, we keep seeing this sort of thread but, nothing happens. so if anyone lives in Herefordshire I am up for giving coffee at my house. or I should say if you can get here. I'm up for it. So may I suggest we start with county meetings, anyone interested please email me. Sally.

People before you go anywhere with this giant meet may I suggest you do a little research first 1 a venue licence 2 an events licence 3 Police involvement 4 safety personel 5 Firstaid 6 security 7 insurance maybe more would have to check LOL and then sum up the cost of all this I think you will find you may need all this kind of stuff with the amount of people attending Paul
