hi Lynda and Brian I suffer with this , I was just thinking how my Tummy is swollen today and wondering what I ate or drank.I am going to look at this site sounds good.

Thanks I will take a look. I have had this since I was 19 (now in mid thirties) and I now get backache with it as well! Luckily I don't get the urgent side of it (if you get my meaning!) although I sometimes wish I did. Louise

hi brian i was diagnosed a few months back but i had the signs for about 3 years i also get the back ache!! has anyone else signed up for the trial???

I don't want to be a wet blanket BUT I was diagnosed with IBS some years ago, and then they said it was Diverticulitis. Symptons similar. 18 months ago I blacked out, broke my shoulder and hip - and within 3 weeks had an emergency colostomy for a perforated bowel. SO - please keep an eye on what's going on and if in any doubt go to your doctor.

Ive had it for years. Sometimes it can get so bad I have to kneel on all fours. I find that if I start feeling it starting up I take my spasmonal tablets and it seems to stop it from getting really bad.
