feeling a bit pee'd off actually I was hoping to have quick trip up to Scotland during the last week of this month as I have a weeks holiday from work to use up. My friend had suggested going but she cant afford it now so I asked my mum if she wanted to go and of course she would. Tried finding a place to stay over night so i could go to New Registry House the 2nd day before coming home. Phoned my mum last night and she tells me that she had a tumble on Wednesday and cant walk. Her wrist is swollen and she needs a walking stick just to get around indoors. She said she went to bed 3 times during the day that it happened as she was in so much pain. Said she didnt phone me cos she didnt wan to worry me!! So now it looks like my week of will be visiting her instead. So my further searches are now put on hold

Oh no just had a horrible thought Jamies school fayre this afternoon and i go to go to it, try getting a pushchair rounfd a small school hall with all thm kids ARRRHHHH

oh Gloryer, thats a blow isnt it, i bet you were looking forward to that trip. is there no one else that could perhaps go to your mum?

No there is only me and my brother I live about 30 miles away and have to rely on one bus a day to get there or if the weather is good enough I have a moped which takes almost an hour. My brother still lives down in Kent and does not come up very often., So if I dont go she sees nobody. If the weather warms up a bit I shall go and stop a couple of nights.

I used to have a double buggy (side by side) and it never seemed to give me much trouble but today everybody seems to have problems with them. Especially in the shop I work as it is very narrow aisles. One buggy in there and nobody can get past.

Oh, thats a shame Gloryer, isnt it .:((
