opps! first thought at title was the same as Shelli and Julie! Bec - I'm sure he would look just as good in an old mail sack! Although a nice smart suit (top hat and tails?) woulf ne nice to see but he would be over dressed for a meet and would fit in more at a church. lol

Bec

Bec Report 24 Mar 2006 11:28

Lunar - Don't mention the 'h' word, he got quite emotional when discussing head accessories last night :-S! A suit was discussed but decided to be too formal! lol xx

Hi Bec, No wonder he wanted free accommodation - he wanted to spend all his money on a new outfit to impress you. I'm not going to be there tomorrow because David's due back from Singapore after a week away, so it wouldn't look too good if I said, 'Hello - Goodbye, I'm off to meet the GR crew in London'. Anyway, Jeff's at home ill in bed at the moment, so I don't want to leave him with his jet-lagged Dad looking after him tomorrow. I hope you'll all have a great time. I'm sure you will. CB >|< X

Hello CB - That's a shame. X to Jeff! Any tips on handling the boy? xx

Lisa Ht

Lisa Ht Report 24 Mar 2006 12:05

Bec didnt think you would have a problem with handling anything.... any way why are these meets always so far away from me, starting to get paranoid... Lisa xx

Bec

Bec Report 24 Mar 2006 12:07

Lisa - He's playing a very dangerous game and I've started to doubt my abilities... Where are you? London's pretty accessible (4 airports, hundreds of train stations, coaches travel there, etc)! lol xx

Bec, Jeff says 'Thank you'. Dunno about tips for 'handling' - I didn't get to know the kid that well, despite his offer* (see below) to join me in my hotel room! LOL Tips for COPING with him - 1 Show an interest in haminals - especially ones that don't move 2 Keep your hand (or at least your eye) on your drink at all times - it's likely to be whisked away and polished off, along with everyone else's 3 Buy a Scouse dictionary 4 Ensure all bottles of gin remain behind the bar 5 Have a clothes brush handy. He has a habit of spilling white powder (?) on his clothes. 6 Find out in advance the address and phone number of the nearest West End or City hatter (in case further repairs become necessary) 7 Ensure there are no dogs in the pub, especially small white ones 8 Ensure there is nobody lurking in corners with an artist's sketchpad 9 Ensure there are no light switches within his reach. His celebrity author status lends itself to a tendency to want to rival Blackpool illuminations. 10 Ensure there are no laptops available for connecting to GR That should just about do it, I think, although Lemon, BC, Kaz, Ann and Sue may be able to add to the list. CB >|< ;>))))))))))) X P S * This was conditional upon my husband paying to upgrade my room to double occupancy!
