Yucky question but would like some advice. I have almost been sick several times but have managed to stop myself. Would it be better for me (would I feel better) if I was sick? Thanks xx

I'm not 100% sure actuallly. Have a horrible hacking cough that isn't helping but tummy feels yucky too. Might give it a go :-S

Stupid question Bec, but have you got anything in your stomach? x Just read your last bit; it's probably the coughing that's made you feel like this. Perhaps you have a bit of catarrh, which makes you feel yukky down there, although you aren't actually sick.

Glenys - have had a cheese sandwich and a packet of crisps today. Can't face anything.

Nothing seems to be relieving the headache and temperature. Felt seriously light-headed/faint earlier so am lying down (for a change! lol)

Becs - at least try and drink, even if it's water, when tum's settled a bit. Still queasy? And is someone with you? x

Definately better out than in! your body wants to get rid of your stomach contents so let it! It just can't cope with food at the moment, but you'll be as right as rain in a few days. Look after your self, drink plenty (boiled water is really good) and see your GP if it keeps up. And get someone to pop by and keep an eye on you!! (((((hugs))))) LT xx

CB is right about the sugar and salt solution, but it would be better if someone can go to the chemist for you and get REHYDRATION sachets, they contain the right amounts of salt and sugar that you need. They don't taste very nice but that are often flavioured. Please take care babe.
