I posted a thread earlier on this morning about let's have a GR niceness day, and as usual hardly anyone could do it. Still the bickering going on (re: dave's thread) What's going on with you people. Life is too short to get nasty, and I mean that from all sides. There are people dying, children getting abused, surely there are more important issues in the world. The best chat I had today was on a simple thread about curries, thanks to Manda and everyone else that contributed. Oh and the spray tan one. come on people get a grip here. catherine |

I'm with you Catherine! Only a few days ago I was thinking how great these boards were, everybody so friendly and helpful. What a difference a few days can make. Everybody has problems in life but lets try to count our blessings not our misfortunes. |

These boards ARE great, the majority of the lovely people on here are non confrontational and peaceable. BUT from time to time, as in real life, there is unrest. It eventually dies down and we all get back to enjoying ourselves. Keep on being nice and try and ignore the nasties....XXX BC |

your totally entitled to your opinion claire. I had someone last week say something that I could have took as a nasty comment, but I thought, hey I don't know you, I can rise above this, I have far better things in my life that all this bickering (not that I'm saying you haven't) Please I'm the voice of reason. Totally placid me. I have no problem with anyone. Ask the guys at the manchester meet, they all met me. love to all xxxx |

Just reading through this and my kids when they were young in the back of the car falling out with each other jumped into my mind, heck they still do it now, 20, 18, 14 years old. I'd sit in the front passenger seat and at the top of my voice start singing. 'HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN' They soon shut up!! Fi. x Please feel free to join in the song. |
