Enjoy it all Paul. These are the little things you will remember forever. Hubs changed our Brendan in the middle of the night and for some reason sat Brendan on his knee without a nappy on. Then he realised that pumps don't run down your leg???,,,,,,,,, Need I say more!! Have you been wee'd on yet? Dianne xx |

Paul Hubby used to look after our eldest two days a week, his days off I worked all day. Came home one day and got a gruff hello found out she had filled her nappy so much it had come out everywhere and the only way he could clean her up was to put her in the bath and shower her down. He hates the feel of naked babies so wasn't impressed. I found that funny. |

Our young son was lying in his canvas carry cot in the summer of 1960. I was busy working. When I glanced in I found he had exploded and kicked off his nappy and painted everything including himself a lovely shade of kacky yellow/brown. Husband was at work and I didnt know where to start cleaning up. Felt like taking the whole lot down to the river and throwing them in! This was pre-disposable nappies. |

Our daughter and her husband went out leaving the aforementioned son aged about 17 to babysit. When they got home they found he had changed her (admittedly only wet) nappy. He said he couldnt leave the poor little blighter to stew in her own juices! Daughter didnt have disposables at that time. |

My first born once had a very liquid 'explosion' which leaked out of the side of his nappy and all over me - we were in my bed at the time. I leapt out of bed and went to the shower, leaving husband to sort out pooey baby and the bedsheets. Ugh! As for vomit....been there, washed the t-shirt. nell |

Little boys you have to remember to put their bits downwards when putting nappy on or it just comes over the top of waistband. Eldest daughter again when I was still in hospital weren't gonna let me out as she had slight jaundice and was very quiet (didn't cry in hospital) they told me if she didn't liven up they would have to look into it. We had to eat all together at a long table, a baby started crying and no one moved so figured it must be mine. Went to check her and she had filled the goldfish bowls they sleep in. I was soon allowed home. |

Paul OH was carrying baby daughter in sling on his front, in a shoe shop trying on new trainers, when she exploded, brown stuff all over her, him, shop carpet, and trainers. Poor lad serving was v. young, and had no clue how to help. I of course, should have been able to, but could not stop laughing long enough to do anything constructive! Needless to say, have never been to that shop again... |
