not sure about it tasting different or not but I dont like a wee cup of tea......I prefer a proper mug of the stuff!!! If I know I'm gonna drink loads (which I usually do) then I have these huge mugs that are like vases and I do enjoy those cuppas!!! lol Anne bought me two smaller versions of the same mugs too when she was up here and out of choice I will choose one of those mugs - so there must be something about the taste in a certain mug! lolol

Harry Must admit to using mugs now after family constantly making fun of me when i brought tea-set out lol You've reminded me though of times when only a big tea-pot will do. Happy and sad times when all the family get together. Then after that it's Glasses. 'Cheers' for the thread Harry Mau x

Definitely has to be thin bone china & these days a mug. I had to keep a bone china cup & saucer for my Mum but these days it just sits in the cupboard unused. Vivienne

Off out now. thanks for those interesting replies. However, i still don,t know if it is possible for your drink to actually taste better out of a certain cup or mug. (other than in your mind) Happy days

I am persistent ( or a nuisance,)if nothing else. Can the afternoon shift answer the question ' Is it possible for tea or coffee to taste better out of a different cup' or are we really just kidding ouselves that it does? Happy days

My husband maintains tea tastes best out of a china mug, and coffee in a thicker pottery one! Won't touch tea in what he calls a 'coffee mug'!!

Yes, Harry - from my fine bone china mug (reading from the underneath - no liquid in it at present), produced exclusively by Berkshire China Ltd, from Shakespeare's Globe Theatre shop or from my Snoopy mug that has printed on it the words ''Life is too short not to live it up a little!'' or from my Simpsons mug. :-) Joy
