If it the same people who have been on Radio then they were in the industry and got a TV deal and a book out of it.......They had some problems with a neighbour and water rights?

Several of my rellies took advantage of the £10 assisted passage scheme. They never came back so assume they must have quite liked Aussie land LOL. My neice settled in Australia 10 years ago, lives in Mt Isa. They have taken Australian citizenship, bought some land in Cairns where her husband is building a house and they intend to move there in 2/3 years. Made a wonderful life for themselves and their 2 'water babies', so called as they spend so much time in the pool. Personally I don't know how anyone could give up the long, dark, cold winters and short, rainy summers of England... but each to their own LOL. Jean x.

The people in the BBC show.....'A place in Slovakia' seemed to have plenty of money. They didn't need assisted passage.I would have thought Slovakia would have been a very different place than England and an odd choice.

Ton.... being as the oiriginal cow is long gone.... can I suggest you purchase one over here . that will solve the problem of getting it through customs. The only difficulty you will after that is scarpering away... I know we're not very observant but can't believe no one will notice you tossing a cow over the railings of Buck House... better have a good getaway car (Steve McQueen's in Bullitt would be good). Jean x.

That's a good idea, Jean. But if they got a calf it would be easier to toss over the fence.

Jean Durant

Jean Durant Report 23 Apr 2006 14:29

Don't think that's good enough trifley.... was a fully growed cow gggrandma nicked.

Trifley

Trifley Report 23 Apr 2006 14:30

Yeah......but the calf will grow. Like bank interest.

Jean Durant

Jean Durant Report 23 Apr 2006 14:34

O.K. perhaps we'll accept the calf as part payment. If it lives to be a fully gown up cow all debts discharged.
