I feel a bit sorry for her really. She's portrayed (all be it she's partly to blame) as a dim witted girl from Essex. I don't think she helps herself though, with some of the comments she comes out with. Like eating a diet of Takeaways during the training of the Marathon. She either very clever and totally aware of her actions and plays on this for the publicity or she is totally stupid. Either way she's got some Ba**s. Catherine xx |

She was rather foolish embarking on a marathon with no training a curry the night before and not even a proper pair of running shoes. |

I don't know who this female is, but she is clearly an attention-seeker with the brain capacity of a gnat. Or am I doing gnats a disservice? I hope the ambulance service send her a bill for the time spent treating her.............. Reg |

She may be thick as the proverbial Reggie but she doesn't use her lack of intelligence to belittle anyone who has it:) |

Jane Goody was not the only person who collapsed and was taken to hospital by ambulance. Personally I think anyone who gets up off their backside to compete in a Marathon for charity (no matter how much they raise!) deserves praise rather than criticism. WELL DONE, JANE GOODY!!!!! |

Katie Price and Jade Goody might not be the most intelligent women in the world but both are Millionairesses! They're obviously doing something right! |

It called milking it whilst you can , and good luck to her - Chantelle will be next, wait and see. After the tv appearances and the money runs out you are on the dole. |

well, she may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but fair play to her - I'd probably need an ambulance if I ran for a bus! |

I blame her agent. He/she must have known Jade wasn't serious about training. She should have been advised against it. It was done purely for the publicity, or more money would have been raised in the first place. As mentioned before, Jades rich, and so are her showbiz mates. The efforts made overall were half hearted, the money and the training. Jade has a fitness DVD out, so shes not totally unaware of how to train, nutrition etc. Most of us have never run a marathon, but if we did, even if we diddnt correctly train, we wouldn't have been eating curries and drinking alcohol in days prior to the run.. Common sense tells us not to. Jade is a fool, and a selfish one at that, for if she had a heart attack due to the very unhealthy build up to the race, then her kids may have been left without a mother. Lets hope she learns from this that being a celeb doesn't make you infallible. Elaine x |

If Jade were serious about raising money for charity, she would have done the job properly. I have seen her interviewed several times over the last few weeks and each time she appeared to be bragging about how little preparation she was doing, as if she were being clever. She made little, if any reference to the charity she was supporting. It all seemed to be an ego trip and publicity stunt as far as I could see. How much money did it cost to rush her to hospital by ambulance? In my opinion her attitude to the whole thing has belittled the efforts of serious charity fundraisers. But thats just my opinion of course... Liz |

My granddaughter was a bit ticked off because she and her friend had lots of sponsors lined up And had upped their training some 5 months ago in preparation for the Marathon, she goes to fitness classes twice a week anyway, BUT about three weeks ago they got turned down for a place & had their entry chq returned. She was in line to raise over two thousand pounds for NSPC & Cancer Research so to see a 'celebrity' take the 'P' by not taking it seriously, she wasn't amused. Shirley |
