Well............. Just phoned the bank - putting in a request to refund the charges - but no guarantees and have to wait 7 days before I get the decision. And - they won't increase the overdraft even slightly to ease the situation !!!!!!! That's it then - can't do anymore - I'm stuffed!!!!!! |

Why dont you make an appointment with citizens advice, I know you would probably have to go there to make it...........am now adding Anne on to my worry about list...... ..........love Barbara........... |

This happened to us not too long ago, it was for a Direct Debit and they had tried to take it early before the Bank Holiday so not only 30 quid charges off the bank but because the transaction couldnt go through the company charged us a late payment charge aswell 35 quid. Luckily the woman at the bank was very understanding and gave us back the 30 quid charges, so it might be worth a trip to the bank to see if they will reimburse you the charges back. I wouldn't mind but I get paid Friday (well midnight Thurs the funds go in) - there would have been enough to cover that plus the last one to come if they hadn't done that yet !!! |

Arrgggggghhhh !!! Blinky Bank have now made me overdrawn by sticking the charge for last months slip up on already - hence a direct debit for £6 is now unpaid/bounced for which they will charge me another £30 next month - I give up !!!!!!!!!!! :O((( **** 4/5 UPDATED ON PAGE 2 ***** |
