Keep adding your threads Diana, it is important for you and we all (or most of us) understand how you feel. I have just found out that the father of my close friend knew my Dad in the 1940`s. We can`t get over the coincidence as we have only known each other for 5yrs, but have become very good friends. I wish my Dad was around so that I could ask him about it, he would have had some interesting stories to tell I am sure. Your Dad was important to you and your feelings are important to us - keep posting! Frances x

There, there now Pink feeling a bit better? I hope your 'friend' pm's me about the morbid thread I've just PROUDLY created (seems popular too) so I can cut and paste her VINDICTIVE comments on here and let everyone else have their say. Did I mention I operate a strictly non-BULLYING policy. LOL x

Yes I've often typed out something to add to a thread, or a new thread, then deleted it. I don't put up many threads myself but most of those I have put up have been totally ignored. I used to get upset but I don't care any more. Don't let it get you down - say what you want. You're not being offensive to anyone and in a way (though I know you are hurting) I think you are so lucky. You've lost your dad but he was clearly so precious and such a wonderful person. Not everyone has that relationship with their dads or grandads. Angela

I like to read about your Daddy,he sounds like a really great Dad,and its how you remember him if you talk about him. What else are friends for if not to lend an ear.?

If you need to talk things through you do it, if someone doesn't like it they don't have to read it.................. ...........Barbara.............

You post as much as you like darling and if the evil cow doesn't like it she can *&%$ off!! I've often typed out a thread or response and then not posted but I don't mind how many threads others post. It's a general board after all. Daisysue

Awwww flower. hugs. Its good to have memories - my daughter and I have had a weeping/laughing phone call today - remembering my Daddy - her darling Granda Jimmy - its 11 years on Sunday since he left us - but today - was if he was here with us making us remember all the daft things and laughing - He always made sure we had 'squander money' for going to Craft Fairs - I am at one on Sunday - and we got a cheque we weren't expecting - looks as if he wanted to make sure I had some to be frivilous with at the weekend

Pink Always read your threads - one of the reasons being, unlike some, they are always honest!! Have never plucked up courage to post a thread of my own though . Sharon xx
