Gordon Brown is a very clever Chancellor of the Exchequer, that is, of course if you give him credit for squeezing the nuts out of this country without actually raising direct taxes. His budget speeches are so slick that you miss the small print which is where all the nasty bits are to be found. Lets not forget that overall taxation has actually risen by nearly 10% under dear Gordon since this lot got into power. As PM I don't think Gordon will last very long. He has no personality - which even most have to admit T B has, or did have - and his sideways jaw movement, which gives the impression he is chewing gum, does nothing to endear us at all. |

Don't trust any of them. Those who do get the push seem to be given another job two weeks later and another thing I can't understand is, when an MP fails to win his seat again why does he get a massive redundancy payment. If he has only been in for 5 years he should get the same as the rest of us i.e. 1 weeks pay for each year. Pat fed up with them all. |

A great big NO. Just think Pensions,Flogging off our Gold reserves for peanuts and all the many other stealth taxes he has imposed on us.Just another thing that I think should happen,When MPs.are Sacked,Resign their Posts or Change Political Parties, they should be just that, and elections held in their Constituencies to refill their jobs. Hal. |

What a sad reflection on our times when so few of us trust leading Politicians. Why oh why can't we have representatives who really want to do some good for Society? I read today that Two Jags is on a Salary of 134,000. That is far too high for a so-called Public Servant. |

I saw him at the USDAW conference last year in Blackpool. Good speech but waves his hands about so much it confuses you and takes the sting out of some of what he is saying. |

What do you mean you don't trust Gordon? How can we trust any politician? Labour has only sunk to the same depths as the Tories were in 1997. Politicians are all the same - corrupt and full of self interest. No wonder the country is going down the pan. And they wonder why the electorate is losing interest.... |
