Baz, give us a shout when you get here then. OH put a huge England flag up in the window last week, but I hated it, I couldn't see the squirells playing in the trees or watch the leaves coming out. felt truly hemmed in and told him to move it! He did, but not without much grumbling lol

I drive heavy plant DIL.Emma, you know, bulldozers and the like, but getting a bit weary of them just lately. The fun's all gone lol

Not here it hasn't! We had it Friday and yesterday so mustn't grumble too much! I too love to potter in the garden and then sit down and have the sun on my face listening to the birdsong and watching the squirrels. Marvellous! It's what life's all about! Debby

To be honest Nick, I'd love to move away, but I've got a garden surrounded by trees, and at the moment they are full of nesting birds, plus of course, the song. I even put my budgie out in the garden so he can have a chat with the local bird population, lol. I think when I do move, It'll be in the winter lol

You're right there Baz, though I live in Norwich, right in the city, there is a patch of woodland next to my flat, so there is a lovely dawn chorus every morning. My OH doesn't appreciate it much and reckons the song thrush should be served an ASBO the philistine LOL
