Thinking of you all Shirley at this very delicate time. 'They' have come a long way in the treatment of Hodgkins these days, so stay as positive as you can. Being surrounded by family and close friends is important, so once you find a suitable wig, make sure she gets plenty of caring company. It works wonders.

Joan Shes had her hair cut short as she was told it will be less dramatic when it starts to fall out. Spent two days crying cos she hated it. Everyone has told her they LIKE it so shes a bit better about it a the mo. Been referred for a wig so hope this happens sooner rather than later .

(((((hugs))))) to you all at such a difficult time. Take care Jenny :-) Shirley, you mentioned intense itching(?) not sure if it will help but peppermint lotion sometimes relieves it a little (usually used as foot cream in body shop etc). It makes the skin cool and it then struggles to send cold and itch messages at the same time. After sun might help too.
