hello there and welcome! i have only added about 3/4 threads in the year i have been a member, but i have messages loads of times, i can never think of anything that will be interesting enough to others. i often sit for ages trying to think of something then give up in the end. tina x

Hello Linda I just barged in to converstions until people talked back lol. It's cheeky I know, Sometimes it may seem like we all know each other but we may never have spoken to someone before. It's just that we've read what each other have said on the boards previously, For example I recognise all the people on this thread but I don't think or don't remember speaking to them before. However I can tell you that keith is a Liverpool supporter and that Elaine used to be called Harlow girl. (I may have spoken to Elaine before). As keith says, join in. x lesley

I know it sounds daft but I've always been wary of going into the welcome inn. Don't know why. The only time I popped my head in was when I discovered Lemon was taking Daniel in after all and we nearly took the argument outside. lol Don't worry we made up. They seemed a pretty friendly bunch. However, I don't even read their threads despite the fact that I read nearly every other one. I think I'm losing the plot as i can't justify it at all. x Lesley

The problem is that unlike being a new face at a party, unless you join in by posting, no one will notice you. At a party I'd go up to a new face and say hallo. But you only know who is on the boards if they post. Some threads on here get very personal - I tend to avoid them. nell

Polly That's exactly how I feel. Maybe it's because it's well established. Maybe we should brave it together one night. We can always sit quietly in the corner having a chat. Just don't smuggle the drink in your bag like you did last time. They'll chuck us out! lol

Thanks Christine, That's it - I'll have to brave it. I've no doubt that it's really friendly in there. I think it's just the way my brain works (& obviously Pollys - but she's as daft as I am (no offence Polly)) For some reason I don't even read the threads. I will try before I venture in. Thanks again for the encouragement.
