Oh you poor soul Bec. I agree with what's been said on here. You insist with your doctor on Tuesday otherwise change doctors. If you're in that much pain someone needs to get to the bottom of it. As a parent myself, I can understand that your Mam is also worried about you. Why not let her come around to your place tonight to watch the Eurovision with you. I always think pain is worse when suffering alone. If you suddenly can't bear it any longer, your Mam will be able to get you to A&E instead of suffering unnecessarily. Keep us updated. Big hugs coming your way. I'll look in tomorrow to see how things are.

Dawnie - Thanks honey. Am going to be VERY insistent (sp?) at the Doctors on Tuesday. I can't carry on like this, I'm only 23 and should be able to walk around without wincing and limping. x Kim - MWAH xxx Theresa - Mum's suggested I stay at hers tomorrow night, and if I'm still bad then I will and probably not go to work on Monday. I think wearing high heels last night didn't help but I'm not going to stop dressing how I want to! Thanks for your sympathy and support. xx

Bec you have my sympathy, I know it is painful but try and keep moving. As others have said insist at Drs, my troubles started in my mid twenties and now at 39 I can feel like a burden (especially when hubby has to cut up my dinner ), maybe if I had been more insitant at start might not of got bad as quickly. If you are in that much pain go to A & E after all you pay your taxes and NI so make use of it. Take care and let your mum look after you dawnie xx (now you know why so many spelling mistakes in my replies as fingers don't work)

Bec you have my sympathy, and a warm bath will probably do you good. However the others are right, you really do need to get this checked out, just to eliminate all the possiblities. Be persistent with the doctor, jsut because you are young does not mean you can't have something wrong that needs proper treatment. Secondly, don't suffer alone, your Mum wants to help and shes probably worried sick about you now. Let her help, even if its only to make a cuppa for you.

Have just ordered a Chinese and am going to have a bath shortly. I'll be ok. Thank you for caring xx

Christine - I got painkillers from A & E ages ok but they made me sleepy :0( xxx Wendy - Had Diclofenac but they've upset my stomach. Taking Nurofen Plus but they just take the edge off the pain, the Pharmicist was really surprised as they're the strongest painkillers you can get over the counter apparently. xxx

Sorry Bec and Teresa, I didn't mean to imply that YOU were ageing!!! I know young people have arthritis too and I find that awfully sad. Hubby has had it for about 30 years and it has served him very badly over the years. It's really quite bad. Mum wanted me to stay at hers tonight but I didn't and now I wish I had. Oh well, hopefully Eurovision song contest, takeaway and you lot on here will make me feel better. xx
