As long as you dont mix up your leaping and hunting heads and do your girth up, your OK with the saddle - also sit up straight With the other, try not to laugh too much, or it can all go to pieces (so to speak)...

I learnt to ride sidesaddle about 16 years ago. It makes you sit up straight in the saddle and looks very elegant I found it a very comfortable way to ride as I have arthritis and sometimes riding astride jars my hip /back. I enjoyed learning to ride side saddle, I want to learn to drive a carridge next......have fun Sue

A friend of mine has hunted sidesaddle---can't believe that, but she says she felt perfectly safe. Gloria :-))))

That's good Suzanne - and carriage driving too. That looks elegant too. My BiL's Liz won Horse of the Year Show carriage driving a few years ago, and constantly wins at all the big shows. They breed Welsh Cobs. My horse was a dressage master, and did all disciplines, a good all rounder. I put on so much weight and look like a dumpling - not elegant at all - but it comes in handy when you fall off - because you bounce.....
