'If I had known grandchildren were so nice I'd have had them first!' I know it's quite corny and ridiculous, but it speaks volumes for us grandparents. Mine are aged 20 and 18 (boys [well still boys to us]), and a 15- year-old granddaughter. My wife and I love them all to bits. Brian, ; < O )

Oh what a lovely thread. Brings back many memories of times I spend with my Grandparents: walking, blackberrying, painting, singing, dancing and just being cuddled. Haven't got any grandchildren yet, but looking forward to having some before I get a zimmer! Have a good day everyone. Margaret

I have 10 of them, and a great grandaughter. one of my grandsons had his 12th birthday party at my house last night, In front of his friends he wrapped his arms around me and said, oooh Nannie i love you sooo much. What more could you want? It was worth the mess. lol Shirley Ann.
