Evening all...!!! How's everyone??? Daniel how's the holiday???? It's p*****g down here now...was roasting earlier....midgies are out in force...no wind to buffet them away :-(((( We've got some 'goings on' going on here.....we have the mountain rescue...extra police.....police sniffer dogs....coastguard helicopter....turns out someone (13yr old)that's up here on holiday (I say holiday but it's borstal break time of year)has decided they didn't like rules & regulations and have broken free from their accomodation.....waaaaaaay up in the sticks of Knoydart which is only accessible by boat or chopper.......they reckon he'll turn up soon coz it's turned rather wet here now and the midgies are having fun...prob be back asap without his avon skin-so-soft!!! Well I don't really care what he's done or why he's at the 'camp' but at the end of the day he's someone's son and I really hope he turns up soon......no matter what he's done I'm sure his family are worried for his safety.....cannot begin to imagine what's going throught their minds just now....that 13yr old could be anywhere by now. Hope they find him safe and well :-) RDA.x.

Nope.We were going to have the reception there but it was too much like a train staion so went down the road to the more private Jermeriah Beach Club. Nice place.

Julie.......I'm in Mallaig...North West Coast of Scotland....bang in the best bit of the Highlands for hiding in!! Yeah the helicopter keeps circling the area....just gone round for the millionth time.....sniffer dogs searching people's sheds etc.... they doing door-to-door enquiries now :-( The mammoth midgies will send him back to camp I'm sure :-) RDA.x.

yeah I know...it's yon kinda muggy heavy way here.....to hot to shut the windows but too blooming midgiefied to leave them open!!! :-) Will post up any updates I hear on the lad. RDA.x.

Ok for those that were reading this thread earlier know there was a young lad missing up here though he's not from here....well he's turned up safe and well albeit a bit damp & midgie bitten. Turns out he was staying at the camp the one that's used for troublesome teens to get away for a while and he liked it that much he caused trouble on the way back into port here and the police had him in the station to calm down...to which he broke out and took off and tried to get back to the camp via the hills coz he wanted to stay!!!! Well I guess the camp has worked on one anyway...so it must be doing the right thing!!! At present he's getting a rather stiff talking too about having to get quite a few services out searching for him, he'd been on the run since midday. RDA.x.
