Thanks Rose, :-) Modern Studies is politics basically. For my dissertation I'll be making comparisons between some aspect of American and UK politics. A while before I do that now. Not sure about dissertations I'll be writing for English, History. Thanks Liz and Elaine, I'll try not to get too stressed out. I'm really looking forward to Summer holidays and to collecting my prizes lol :-) I might not get too stressed out this year. I want to do as well as I can of course but I know I'm already qualified for uni (in scotland at least). I just can't go because I'm too young! :-)

Hi Lucia, S levels were Special papers - extension papers for A level. Phased out in the 90s but making a reappearance as AEA papers - Advanced Extension Award. Janice

I didn't do A-Level's as I left school after my GCSE's at 16 (just - was 16 on 30th August). But I went back to college when I was about 22 and did an Access Course - to get access to Uni - and did History and Sociology. What do you want to do at Uni and after? Kaye x

Hi Kaye, I'd like to study history at university but I'd like to study something else with it to get the most out of my degree. After Uni I'm interested in becoming a curator, historian or perhaps working in archives. I haven't really decided yet. :-)

That's what I wanted to do - I was accepted to Bangor Uni in Wales where I was going to do History and Archaeology, but I met my future Husband just before the end of my Access Course and decided not to go - had to choose one or the other and went with my heart (have to confess in some ways I regret it). I did start a Combined Arts Degree - History Major and English Minor, which was ok but it didn't work out and I left before the end of the first year. History is one of those subjects that you can put with almost anything, it's really flexible. Good luck with it all - go for it while you're still young and don't let anything get in your way. Thank you Kaye :-) Hopefully I'll get the right exam results. I'm getting collywobbles just thinking about it.

You seem very intelligent for your age - I'm sure you'll be just fine. Nice to see some decent grammer too - very refreshing ;-) Kaye x

lol :-) I'll just hope I can celebrate when 8th August arrives. I remember last year I was absolutely terrified about results and I'll be the same this year, I imagine. It's funny that. I've never thought of myself as intelligent. ^o)
