Georgia Report 11 Jun 2006 01:20

I'm English but living in the US. My husband watched it on Univision, the Mexican TV channel. Omg what a noise!!! Goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllll!!!! I was trying to work out how many of the teams playing in the World Cup had been at war with England at some point - a depressingly large number. Reading about the instructions to English soccer fans was what got me going. Plus it was the Argentina game. Said husband just returned from a business trip to Luxembourg where, to my embarrassment, but evidently not his or the other peole he was with, he admits to singing the Dambusters theme while making plane arms, on a boat close to the German border on the Mosel River. It was dark he said.

I did until 1.00 o'clock this morning (Aus. time). Not the best game but they still got their 3 points. I have to agree about the referee. Just a little one-eyed! Susan

Watched bits of it whilst busy at home then getting ready to shop. Not a huge footie fan, but got quite interested in our game this afternoon. Won't change any other arrangements to watch games tho - just if I happen to be around and nothing better on...

I thought it was a great game :-) They played well considering that the referee seemed very much against them.

Didn't watch any of it. Took my magazines outside and sat in the sunshine. Daughter and hubby said the match was like watching paint dry!

fantastic first hour then what happened??? Crouch seemed to be by himself for most of the game , nobody to pass the ball to.I was hoping he would score just to see his Dance, so funny.
