No Saba, not a twin, I'm the second eldest of us seven, youngest are twins (they are 35) I was almost 18 when they were born. Have loads of twins in family thou, my grannie is an identical twin, she had two sets of twins (one identical one faternal). My grannies twin had two sets of twins (both faternal) My mum had identical twins, and my mums sis had faternal twins. So far this generation no twins thou. lol. Hubbies side had loads of twins also, his grannie had two sets a year apart (OMG) poor woman. Catherine - god bless hon. |

There isn't a day that goes by that I wish my mum would do what yours did. 10 years this year since she passed away. You are lucky. I would get up all night just for 5 more min with my mum. I never got the chance to say goodbye. You go to her, no matter what a pain it is, cos one day she won't be there. good on ya girl for getting up and looking after your mum. catherine xx |

Saba, she's a fighter and she is doing a bit of hobbling but she's doing good. Silly beggar broke the foot then went and mowed the back lawn before she decided she should get it checked. Dr's couldn't believe she did that. Then again after having seven kids should be tough old girl. When she was in labour for the last of us (twins) she washed the washroom walls, had a bath, went to the beauty salon, had her hair done, went home packed her bag then called my dad to come home as she was ready to give birth. Sorry about your mum Debs |

Sorry Deb but I've been the night nurse for my nan - and she was a right b*gger - getting up in the middle of the ruddy night for a pee! she was on a zimmer because her broke leg getting out of bed for a pee. I'm done with babysitting adults!! give me sick kids anyday. |

your right on Woody, I'll be 53 next month and have six siblings but always seems it's me that does the running for her so when sis stepped up I was relieved. Guess it's mostly cause I only live two blocks from mum and the rest are not as close in distance. Love my mum but sometimes she drives me bonkers. Really thought it was quite funny thou the way she was acting and made me realize just how she is ageing. Kind of a reality check for me thou as forget she is getting on in years. |
