Hi Lee, Me again, I omitted to say that this person was very rude. I keep getting people, asking me to open my tree, saying that they have already opened theirs for me to look at, and when I do, they have only one person in their tree.. It takes all sorts. June xx

Hi Lee, Is it possible that in these days of text messaging what the person ment was, ' In what way does this name connect to you? and wasn't meaning to be rude. I have had a few of the,' You have Elizabeth Williams in your tree', without the person explaining what their connection is to Elizabeth Williams. I find those contacts rather frustrating. Did you explain your reasons for having an interest in that name?

hi Jeannie, yes on consideration of your answer, this is how youngsters text nowadays, its seems rude to the older generation but acceptable to the youngsters. ITS the generation gap im afraid.

I'm with Jeanie - sounds like a youngsters , that uses text speak ( which i hate) had the first word in their reply been 'WHO' not WHAT it would probably have come across okay. jess
