Yeeeeesssssss. trying my hardest to build this flippin brick wall, he saunters over and points out a brick ''Not quite level''. he, needless to say, couldnt lay bricks, let alone level.... Ok, the wall is 'rustic' as garden walls should be, but only a tiny weeny bit. I AM doing my best , will soon throw in the towel, or is that trowel? jess

Worst, is when you give up doing right by everyone else, because you couldn't do anything right for doing wrong .... but then, you get accused of no longer caring enough to help - when you stay out of it ! The kids always knew that if they came to me with a problem, I would say the right thing to the right people to get things sorted. Well, I was always blamed for interferring - even though the problem always did get sorted. Now, when I keep there problems to myself, I get accused of not caring any more ... yep, you can't do right for doing wrong :-))) fact of life peeps :-)) Look after No 1, at least then you are strong enough to cope when it does all fall into your lap :-) ... and it DOES !! Agree Elaine....sometimes you just have to stand back and let everybody sort it out for themselves........then you can't be held responsible......

Be selfish Strump ... we only come this way once :-) ... and TRY not to feel guilty about it ! I now only protect and look after my son. Daughter is old enough ( and she thinks she is mature enough ) to take life by the horns, so I just look after my son now. When he's old enough to take responsibility, then I';ll let him ... ..... at that time, I shall unleash myself upon the world, and oh boy, will everyone know it !!! :-)))) Elaine ;-)
