You see Linda I think that when you put it away, it does look neat and nice, but does it not crease up in the drawers again. Catherine xx

HATE IT! When the children were all young I was like everyone else and had to do it. I have to agree with those who do like it, that once started , I quite enjoyed it once I got into the rhythm... but it always took either music or a story tape!! Deanna X

I do ironing not only for myself but 2 friends pay me to do theirs. I have a hubby who works nights and so need something that fits in with children. I have several little cleaning jobs plus ironing which i tend to do in the evenings in front of the telly when everyone is in bed. I have got to the stage where i do enjoy it now. Nicky

If there's anyone that loves it, feel free to pop round ours once a week, I'm sure we'll have plenty there to keep you happy...

The biggest luxury in my life is my lovely ironing lady - it is the chore that I hate so she whisks it off for me and returns it 2 days later on hangers ready to put in the wardrobe . Would not be without her

If you don't mind me asking Kris is it expensive to do that? I have thought about it in the past but think hubby would object. catherine xx

Phoenix Report 5 Jul 2006 12:27

I can't honestly remember the last time I ironed something! It was probably just before I got married - I think I ironed a shirt for Hubby to wear in the evening - and that was just over 2 years ago. lol I'm not even sure where my iron is right now - if I needed it I would have to go on a hunt. Life is too short to worry about a few creases :-) Kaye x
