appox sixes Pls note appox!!!!! 2yrs = 92 cm 3yrs 98cm 4yrs 104 cm 5yrs 110cm but if you're thinking of buyng clothes be warned every shop sizes differently. what fits a four yr old in one shop will be too small in another!!!!

sorry Paul, had to do some work while ago so didn't get back. Yes if you call 5' 1' little then I'm a little shortie. Are they making kids taller these days cause even my 7 year old niece is almost as tall as me. pmsl.

well my four old took clothes to fit 5-6 year olds. was slim but tall for her age. guess its whatever is is the genes(not jeans lol) that determine height. Clothes are made for average ,but who,s average??

just be aware that boys and girls are not on average the same hieght and children with conditions such as down's Syndrome tend to be shorter than other children. Best and easiest way to see the average height of children at a given age is to look at a growth chart (in the Red child health books) find the childs age and read of the hieght from the middle line they always give height and weight in cm and kg. I guess it's easier if you have easy access to a red book.
