Ohhhh. Have just downloaded Raindrops, and I'm not sure I would want it played at my funeral. The words may be appropriate in places but it's a wee bit catchy. Oh dear. ..Not sure this is a good thing ... but Sue (Pat's daughter) is with Dad now, so I can only see what happens.. Thanks everyone, you've all been a tremendous help .. AS ALWAYS. i think he probably wrote more songs that he actually sang why Sacha Distel - was he a fav - what about other artists of the time.

Dad's just phoned. MUST be Sasha. No one else. Pat used to work at a theatre somewhere many years ago ..( possibly Coventry area ??) She loved Sasha and was working one night he was on stage. She was introduced to him, got his autograph and had her photo taken with him .... think she had quite a thing for him ! .. I'm downloading all his songs onto a CD and then Dad & Sue can take it from there. THANKS again everyone xxxxx
